For the past three years—and commissioned again for the upcoming year—I've had the privilege of photographing the annual report for the Richard King Mellon Foundation. Each year, RKMF provides transformative grants to organizations working across key areas: Conservation, Economic Development, Economic Mobility, Health & Well-Being, Organizational Effectiveness, and Social-Impact Investments.

My role is to document 15 grantee stories annually, capturing the real people behind the progress—individuals and organizations committed to building a better, more equitable future. Through my photography, I aim to create a human connection between these changemakers and the wider community that supports and benefits from their work.
