Bruce Springsteen #07

Pittsburgh 12/28/78 There is this single roll of film I shot at a Bruce Springsteen concert at the Stanley Theater. I shot the roll from the balcony during the first part of show. I then snuck into the orchestra, close up and by mistake shot the same roll again. I processed the B/W film as direct positive (slides) and initially was really disappointed at having shot the roll twice. There were two shots that I scanned a while ago and had a couple of prints made ( I traded them for tickets). The two frames were also included in a Canadian book on the “Darkness” tour called, “Light in the Darkness”. Other than that, the roll has been filed away all these years - until this fall, when I started putting together collections of images and printing them at my new studio. It has been a huge revelation seeing the images blown up as fine art prints - there was so much there I had never seen.
