This past summer I found a large shipping container behind the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, brought it to my backyard and asked my wife/artist Stephanie to paint it in new ways every several weeks. The portraits are taken at a safe distance, shot outdoors and lit with diffused natural light. Everyone is masked except for the subject during the photo session. It has allowed some of the most fun portraits ever. Portraits that reflect this moment in time and find the joy we all have bottled up.
