I took a small plane up to an old summer camp that artist William Wegman had bought, where he lived, worked, and played with his dogs. His photos at this location are so well known, it was like I was working on his canvas with his subjects. The main difference is that William was in the photo and I was the director. I love this shot I did for a Vanity Fair assignment, it reminds me of a couple out on the lake for a canoe ride at sunset.
