Joni Mitchell #02

I took these photographs of Joni Mitchell at Cornell’s Barton Hall in Ithaca, NY.  The image on the left became my spending money for freshman year. I sold dozens of 8x10’s, carefully dry mounted on boards and signed for $10-20. For years I would go into a room all over the country and see Joni smiling back at me.  When I worked for Norman Seeff in LA one winter I got to meet Joni on a night with a big full moon. She signed one of the prints for me. It is one of the two autographs I have gotten in my career.  This image has not been printed since I was in college until now.
