We met at the place where Yo-Yo Ma gets his cellos worked on and repaired in Boston. I was so excited to shoot the great cellist. He is as joyous and wonderful a man as you could hope for. I am often asked if a subject is difficult or a prima donna. The answer is always No. My pictures are about finding the joy inside of us all. Yo-Yo Ma of course exudes joy in spades.
