This was shot for a TLC marketing campaign on a freezing day in a barn somewhere outside of Dallas. The art director was my good friend and great creative collaborative troublemaker, Dan Cavey. The barn was dark and the only real light were my strobes bursting to capture the action. The most amazing part of this shoot came in the place I could not see when I was shooting. The moment the flash burst, was the exact moment I could not see until afterwards. I throw stuff a lot in my pictures. I love all the spices in mid air.
