Melrose Place was a phenomenon I knew little about. I had never seen the show. For this shoot we were creating something a bit bigger than life – the big spotlight. Marcia Cross and Thomas Calabro were doing this for a cover on TV’s Grand Finales. Marcia is so glam in this shot – Thomas playing the handsome foil… then all the feathers! The outtakes include a shot with a bit klieg light which I love. The EW cover was a close – up wrapped in a gold curtain.
