Death is not the end. It is the beginning of another kind of relationship with those we love. Malcolm McCormick (Mac Miller) was such a bright light and, in many ways, his light got even brighter as we mourn his loss. In our own collective gatherings in Pittsburgh, in LA, on Instagram and everywhere else, we found that we appreciated Malcolm in ways that we all shared. What became obvious was how he connected so many of us through his music and life. Malcolm facilitated others’ creativity and honesty by sharing his own journey so intimately.
